Founder Background
Gustav is a Swedish entrepreneur with over 12 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry. Through years working on-site and managing projects, he repeatedly encountered the same struggle: construction teams lacked efficient tech tools to streamline communication, task tracking, and real-time data collection.
It was this persistent inefficiency that triggered Gustav’s realization. Despite digital progress in other industries, construction remained anchored in manual processes—paper whiteboards, spreadsheets, and missed handoffs were still the norm. He recognized that what was needed was not just another app, but an integrated tech platform built specifically for the day-to-day realities of builders and contractors.
With a deep understanding of field-level challenges and a passion for problem-solving, Gustav founded Buildlr. His vision: to design user-friendly, field-tested software that empowers construction teams with real-time visibility, accountability, and collaboration tools. Buildlr is a direct answer to the frustrations Gustav lived through hands-on.
